Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong Offers Easter Feasts of Fun

Guests can celebrate Easter at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong with holiday feasts, fancy goodies and an array of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Easter Party

On 15 and 16 April 2017, little patrons of any of the hotel’s restaurants and lounge are invited to join the special Easter party at no extra cost.  Between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., children can enjoy such activities as an egg hunt, Easter egg painting, cupcake decorating, washable tattoos, a magic show, balloon twisting and watching cartoons in the Kowloon Room on the mezzanine level. Guests can also join the Golden Eggs Hunting competition and be one of three winners to take home an amazing prize. Another highlight of the party is a kids’ buffet featuring sweet delights and fresh juices from the bar.

Easterinspired Dim Sum Creations at Shang Palace

This year, Executive Chinese Chef Mok Kit Keung at Michelin two-starred Shang Palace adds an Easter twist to traditional Chinese delicacies.  Together with his team, he has prepared a range of Easter-themed and animal-shaped dim sums, including Easter Chick Puffs filled with Diced Abalone and Chicken, Deep-Fried Taro Puff filled with Quail Egg, Steamed Quail Egg and Parma Ham Dumplings, Baked Barbecued Pork Buns with Raisin and Orange, Steamed Rabbit Custard Buns and many more. All are available for guests during lunch between 14 and 17 April 2017.

Eggstremely Eggciting Easter at Café Kool

Between 14 and 17 April 2017, guests at Café Kool can enjoy a buffet menu of festive favourites and international flavours prepared live in six open kitchens by an experienced team of culinary artists.  The Easter feast features hot and cold selections, including Truffle Flavoured Steamed Egg Custard with Foie Gras, Grilled Baby Spring Lamb with Rosemary and Garlic Reduction, Gratin Honey Smoked Ham Pineapple Salsa, Easter Rice Tart, Italian Easter Cake and many more. The Easter lunch buffet is priced at HK$438 per adult and at HK$318 per child, while the festive dinner buffet is priced at HK $668 per adult and at HK$518 per child.

Easter Afternoon Tea Buffet at the Lobby Lounge

Overlooking Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong Island skyline, Lobby Lounge is a place for guests to relax comfortably in a classic and elegant setting with live music throughout the afternoon.  Between 14 and 17 April 2017, an Easter-themed afternoon tea buffet will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. for only HK$368 per adult and HK$308 per child.  Guests can look forward to a selection of cuisines includes Parma Ham with Rock Melon, Smoked Salmon-Radish Deviled Eggs, Easter Leg of Lamb with Roasted Vegetables and Lavender, Chocolate and Pistachio Mousse Cake, Easter Rice Tart and many more.

Easter Goodies at Déli Kool

Between 3 and 17 April 2017, a range of Easter goodies is in store at Déli Kool, including Easter Fancy Chocolate Chicken in a Box, Net Egg with Gold Leaf, Bunny on Motorbike and many more.

Aside from the above, the hotel also presents tantalising Easter cakes, which are pleasing to the eyes and the palate. The selection includes Easter Rice Cake, Royal Orange Dome Cake and Chocolate Crème Brulee Mousse Cake. A 10% early-bird discount applies to purchases made before 10 April 2017.
