Executive Pastry Chef Wins Hung presents a brand-new talk-of-the-town cake creation for guests to surprise their loved ones this Valentine’s Day, featuring awayuki strawberry imported directly from Japan.  A chiffon cake made with all Japanese ingredients, it carries a pinkish colour which appeals to ladies of all ages.

Awayuki strawberry is highly regarded in Japan and worldwide for its top quality and sweetness.  Its blossom-like pink colour makes it stand apart from other species of strawberries, along with its distinct aroma and juiciness.

“In Japan, people call the pink colour of awayuki strawberry the white peach pink.  Most ladies are in love with this pink and one can easily link it up with pure love and romance, making it a perfect fit and something unique to impress your one-and-only,” said Chef Wins.  “This cake is not only pleasant to the eyes, but its fruity smell is also second to none.  Just take one bite and you can tell why it has become one of the most sought-after indulgences in Japan nowadays.”

Guests will also be delighted with the soft, fluffy texture of the chiffon cake, thanks to the use of premium Hokkaido flour and fresh cream, as well as trehalose sugar and eggs, all freshly flown in from Japan.

The Awayuki Strawberry Chiffon Cake is priced at HK$598 per cake (1 pound) and is a limited offer for this Valentine’s Day.  Pre-order is available from now until 1 February 2018.  Guests may pick up the purchase at Déli Kool on the mezzanine level on 13 or 14 February 2018.  Please go to https://www.ksleshop.com/vday-cake-2018/html/strawberry-cake-checkout-en.html for making an order or call                             (852) 2733 8988 for enquiries.
