Lake Tahoe is known as the jewel of the Sierra, and for good reasons. Not only does it shine with pristine beauty, it also boasts a long list of incredible things to do.

March is known to be a perfect time to visit Lake Tahoe, with the fresh snow still on the ground, but less crowd. Today the travel experts at TahoesBest.com (http://www.tahoesbest.com) released a list of top things to do March 2014 in Lake Tahoe. Find best things to do for St. Patrick’s Day in Lake Tahoe, upcoming concerts, and other top events coming up this month.

St. Patty’s Day in Lake Tahoe
Get out the green gear and enjoy the best St. Patrick’s Day events going on around the Lake. Homewood Resort is offering prizes to whoever catches the skiing Leprechaun, and other festivities at Homewood include a DJ, Jameson drink specials, and fun raffle gI_128910_tahoesbest-logo-1prizes.

Or spend the day at one of Lake Tahoe’s many Irish pubs. Some of our favorites include Murphy’s Pub in South Lake Tahoe, or the Auld Dubliner in the Village at Squaw. Auld Dubliner is the go – to spot for St. Patty’s Day, and there will live music, so practice that Irish jig!
