Hong Kong’s favourite bistro, Le Bistro Winebeast has moved to a new home in Wanchai – 35-45 Johnston Road and opens doors today on 5th September for dinner. With a new, modern look and feel, the bistro comes to street level becoming your everyday go-to. The move highlights Winebeast’s growth by housing quality wine by family owned wineries at affordable prices. Not only will this allow the restaurant to substantially increase its foot fall and exposure, but also offer customers the accessibility to discover various wines & French cuisine in a relaxing and casual atmosphere.

The new home remains in Wan Chai and boasts the same quality and service as it did when it was located on Thomson Road. Upscale yet cosy, this little French bistro serves exciting French cuisine with a twist of Asian ingredients on the new menus, designed by Chef Johan Ducroquet. Chef Johan who is now in his 5th year in Hong Kong from the stable of many Paris Michelin starred restaurants. All items are freshly made in-house where the menu changes seasonally to showcase Chef Johan’s exceptional talents starting with the new fall menu. Open every day for lunch, dinner and brunch, the new menus feature popular signature dishes including the Beef Tartare, Seared Tuna* and Pan-fried Foie Gras and Homemade Duck Confit, to name a few.

Resident sommelier Cristina Carranco Ducroquet completes this husband-wife culinary team. Winebeast specialises in French Terroir, Spanish regional and eco-friendly wines. Diners have the added benefit of sampling wine that is on sale in the Winebeast wine store for the same price in the restaurants.
