Hong Kong favourite bistro, Le Bistro Winebeast is moving to street level and still in Wan Chai as part of a significant expansion. Re-opening in September, the upscale bistro currently will continue to house quality wine at affordable prices – where wines are served and sold at retail prices. The move will not only allow Le Bistro to substantially increase its foot fall and exposure, but also offer customers the accessibility to discover various wines in a relaxing and casual atmosphere.

Following the success of WineBeast wine store, Le Bistro Winebeast first launched on McGregor Street where their sister restaurant now sits, A.O.C. Eat & Drink, relocated to Thomson Road a couple of years after, and now returns back to ground level.

The new home still remains in Wan Chai and boasts the same quality and service as it did when it was located on Thomson Road. Traditional French bistro cuisine with an exciting modern twist designed and delivered by Chef Johan Ducroquet who is now in his 5th year in Hong Kong from the stable of many Paris Michelin starred restaurants. Resident sommelier Cristina Carranco Ducroquet completes this husband-wife team. All items are freshly made in-house where the menu changes seasonally to showcase Chef Johan’s exceptional talents. Winebeast specialises in French Terroir, Spanish regional and eco-friendly wines. Diners have the added benefit of sampling wine that is on sale in the Winebeast wine store for the same price in the restaurants.

Le Bistro Winebeast is deeply concerned with the conversation of our ocean and marine life. The restaurant supports sustainable fishing and is dedicated to serving sustainably sourced seafood dishes, certified by MSC standards.
