Le Bristol Paris Voted Favorite Hotel In Europe, Turkey And Russia At Condé Nast Traveller UK Readers’ Awards 2015
Le Bristol Paris is pleased to announce its recognition as “Favourite Hotel in Europe, Turkey and Russia” in the Conde Nast Traveller UK Readers Travel Awards 2015 for the second time in three years.
Le Bristol Paris, one of the Oetker Collection’s flagship hotels, ranked fifth worldwide out of the 100 hotels selected and is the first Parisian hotel to figure in the Reader’s Travel Awards Top 100 list.
This distinction once again positions Le Bristol Paris at the summit of French hotels, thanksto its excellence of service, beginning with the cuisine of Chef Eric Frechon, Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France), which elevated the legendary palace to a benchmark in French savoir-faire and the only hotel to offer four Michelin stars—for the gastronomic restaurant Epicure (***) and 114 Faubourg brasserie (*).
The creativity of Head Barman Maxime Hoerth, Best Craftsman of France 2011, is another singular asset, establishing Le Bristol as a must on the Paris and European scene.
The most prestigious ranking in England, the Readers’ Travel Awards are based on a yearly vote by the magazine’s readership to determine their favorite destinations worldwide: the best countries, hotels, cities, spas, airlines, etc.
Didier Le Calvez, President and General Manager of Le Bristol Paris, states: “I take enormous pride in heading the most Parisian of palaces, owned by only two families since 1925. This award recognizes French-style expertise, embodied by Le Bristol’s 600 employees, starting with Leah Marshall, Hotel Manager, Chef Eric Frechon, MOF (Best Craftsman of France) and our four other Best Craftsmen of France”.
Mr Calvez continues: “I would like to also congratulate Le Meurice for its 4th position in the same category. The award also pays tribute to the Oetker Collection’s substantial financial investment in recent years, which continues with the recent opening of The Lanesborough in London.”
