Le French Gourmay Checks in To Pierre And Café Causette At Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Le French GourMay, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is delighted to offer dedicated French-inspired menus at two-Michelin-starred restaurant Pierre and Café Causette. Available throughout the month of May 2018, these menus will highlight ingredients from the South of France region of Provence, Alpes and Côte d’Azur.

Legendary chef Pierre Gagnaire, together with Jacky Tauvry, Chef de Cuisine of Pierre, have created a six-course tasting menu that showcases their extraordinary creative talent. Using the finest seasonal ingredients from the South of France, dishes to highlight include Pressed Red Mullet with Saffron, Crunchy Fennel and Black Olives; White Asparagus, Macaroni, Spring Carrot, Cream of Parmesan and Muscat from Beaumes-de-Venise; and Tielle, Confit Red Bell Peppers, Cuttlefish Carpaccio, Cod Brandade Nimes Style and Cubes of Eggplant.

To complement the tasting menu, the hotel’s Head Sommelier Hubert Chabot has carefully selected five exclusive wines from the same highlighted regions that beautifully pair with the dishes.
