Eduardo Vastolo (Illy Coffee Barista for Asia Pacific)Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran brews a tasteful day of discovery with Illy Coffee to affirm its shared commitment of partnership in providing the ultimate coffee experience to the resort’s guests.

The co-curated event named ‘Premiere of A New Perspective on Coffee’ was held on Saturday 27 July 2013 at WALA, one of the newest venues for the resort’s guests to enjoy the finely crafted gelato and specialty coffee by Illy Coffee. The aroma-filled event was enthused by the participation of the resort’s guests and local media friends joining the coffee culture class + coffee art challenge.

Teaming up with world renowned Illy Coffee, Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran has successfully conducted an afternoon get-together to further acquaint the coffee aficionados at WALA – the resort’s inspiring spot to indulge handcrafted gelato, to popsicles or sip the perfect cup of Illy coffee. “Together with Premiere of A New Perspective on Coffee (Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran) (2)Illy, Le Méridien’s exclusive coffee partner, we attempt to invigorate our guests about our pursuit of inspiring journeys of discovery through the perspective of coffee. This joint-collaboration has a deep meaning for us to establish our footmark as a new resort in Bali that is able to creatively orchestrate both exceptional dine and stay experience”, said Greg Gubiani, General Manager of Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran.

Founded in 1933 by Francesco Illy, illycaffè produces and markets worldwide only one blend of high quality coffee, made of nine kinds of pure Arabica. The unmistakable taste and aroma of Illy are born from the perfect balance of these ingredients coming from South America, Central America, Premiere of A New Perspective on Coffee (Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran)India, Africa, and China. Taste and aroma are always the same in each cup of coffee sipped in any country of the planet. In order to increase each profile of its blend, in 2010 the company has created the Monoarabica line of products, and has started to sell three out of nine Arabicas: those from Brazil, Ethiopia, and Guatemala. With Le Méridien, Illy have shared the similar passion to get-connected with travellers and coffee addicts by a distinctive approach in introducing the coffee culture through creative forms of art, such as architecture, design, fashion, film, food and photography.

“This is a breakthrough yet an important milestone for Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran to be further known not only as an exquisite dwell to stay at, but also as a sublime venue for travellers who seek inspirations. We believe there will be a lot of great things to come through this partnership as part of delivering service of excellence to the guests”, said Pramudya Bevan, East Area Manager for Illy Coffee Bali.
