Le Meridien Bali Jimbaran Unlocks ‘Bistro Gastro’ And ‘Merdeka Delight’

Following the success of #BeergasmBali, Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran is back with an enhanced gastronomic journey for travellers to invigorate on a relaxing Saturday night. ‘Bistro Gastro’ is the new culinary concept at Smoqee Sky Bar where the sunset view,perfected by widespread scrumptious fare will take place. Bistro Gastro is available every Saturday night starting from 26 July 2014.

Bistro Gastro at Smoqee Sky Bar (1)Guests may choose the BBQ menu from various marinated meats selection including Chicken Teriyaki, Beef Hotdog, Roasted Lamb Chermoula and Balinese Chicken Satay; or a Seafood galore featuring the day’s fresh catch with Lemon and Thai Basil, White Sweet Pantai Prawns, Grilled Mangrove Clams, and Calamaretti a la Plancha. This experience is for only IDR 250,000 net per person for a choice of four grilled items, including three assorted salads, steam cardamom rice, vegetable dish, assorted desserts, fresh fruit salad and other condiments.

To further stimulate the sense of taste, at IDR 350,000 net per person enjoy a choice of five grilled items including choice of Korean Grill Wagyu Sirloin or Grilled Lobster glazed with Bouillabaisse and Tomato reduction.

All these, freshly made-to-order, grilled and seasoned by the resort’s talented chefs live on the spot. Prices are also inclusive a glass of house wine or beer.

Travellers are invited to celebrate Indonesia’s 69 years of independence with local flavors. Executive Chef Hugo Thiebaut backed by his local culinary talents will be pulling all the stops to prepare a rich selection of cuisine from the archipelago, such as Nasi Tumpeng (traditional cone-shaped Turmeric rice dish served with meat and vegetable assortments), Gado-Gado (Indonesian-style salad with rich mixture of vegetables and hard-boiled eggs mixed in peanut sauce dressing), Rujak Kuah Pindang (seaweed salad in tuna dressing), Jimbaran Prawn Salad, Lappa (Indonesian fish ceviche), hot cooking station, assorted satay, seafood BBQ station, Indonesian-style desserts, and more.

Available for dinner on Sunday, 17 August 2014 only, the special Merdeka Delight buffet will be served at Bamboo Chic Restaurant at IDR250,000net per person.
