Leading Global Serviced Apartment Agency Shows Support For Quality Programme – The Apartment Service Welcomes New Industry Standards

The Apartment Service, EMEA’s longest-established serviced apartment booking agency based in Wimbledon, London has today welcomed the decision by the industry’s association, ‘ASAP’ (Association of Serviced Apartment Providers) to promote their grading and classification scheme for serviced apartments and corporate housing to business and leisure customers. 
Charlie McCrow, CEO for The Apartment Service, is a member of the ASAP steering committee and has been a long-time advocate of creating greater consistency in operating standards across the globe.

McCrow says; “Looking ahead, The Apartment Service will continue to work with ASAP in the UK and the CHPA (Corporate Housing Providers Association) in the US to encourage a concerted effort in agreeing common ground for operators’ services & products’
McCrow adds: The Quality Assurance programme was a much-needed development for our industry as it addresses one of the main concerns that companies and their travellers have about staying in serviced apartments. The range of amenities, equipment and guest services has to be more consistent if serviced apartments are to increase market share in both the business and leisure areas”

Roomspace, (the operating brand of serviced apartments managed by The Apartment Service) is a member of The TAS Alliance and operates in excess of 450 apartments across  the UK, Spain & Portugal and has been accredited via the ASAP Quality Assurance programme with excellent results.
