Less than two weeks to go to for entries in Hawai’i Tourism Oceania & Hawaiian Airlines’

Hawai’i Tourism Oceania and Hawaiian Airlines are giving 25 lucky Australian travel agents the opportunity to explore Hawai‘i’s rich culture and natural beauty, and experience unique activities on an 8-night, two-island famil, taking place 20–28 November 2013.

The Experience Aloha Famil 2013* will offer four nights on rejuvenating Kaua‘i, inspiring Hawai‘i Island or captivating Maui, followed by four nights on energising O‘ahu.

To be eligible for selection, agents must complete the following steps:

 Ticket five international flight bookings with Hawaiian Airlines between 1 August – 12 September 2013.

 Complete one Papa Island Training Course. Join/Login to website. Click on our “HDS Program” (right-hand panel) and choose “Papa Islands Training Courses” from the drop menu. Select a Module 2-7, read through course materials and complete the Certification Test.

 Tell us in 50 words or less “Which Hawaiian Island you’d most like to visit and why?”

* Conditions of entry:

You must be a Hawai‘i-selling travel professional, have successfully completed a minimum of one “Papa Islands Training Course” on the HTO travel trade website and ticketed five international flights with Hawaiian Airlines between 1 August–12 September 2013 on HA paper.

If tickets are issued through a wholesaler, proof of invoice needs to be provided.

You must be available to travel between 20–28 November 2013, have a valid passport and be over 21 years of age.

You must have been working in the travel industry for at least 12 months at the time of departure and for a minimum of 6 months after your return. A participation fee of AU$550 inc. GST is applicable.

Participants will be responsible for applying for a travel authorisation via ESTA (US$14).

Entries close on 12 September 2013, the 25 completed entries with the most creative answer (as deemed by Hawai’i Tourism Oceania) to the 50 word or less question will be sent an invitation to attend this famil. Final acceptance is dependent upon an approved reference check with your current Manager.

One entry per person, per store accepted and a total of 25 seats available.
