Life is Art Pop-up Cinema at the new ArtisTree Lunch Time and Happy Hour Screenings for Film Enthusiasts 5-15 September 2017

To celebrate the opening of the MOViE MOViE cinema at Cityplaza this autumn, the new ArtisTree will launch an initiative, Life is Art Pop-up Cinema at ArtisTree, with a two-week multi-genre programme that will run between 5 to 15 September 2017. Eight free lunch time and happy hour screenings will be presented at ArtisTree in Cambridge House, Taikoo Place, offering movie experiences for creative breaks in the day. With short films, documentaries and animations on offer, there is something for everyone.

40-minute lunch time screenings at 1pm on Tuesdays and Fridays include a series of short animations by acclaimed Japanese animators Takashi Nakamura and Hiroyasu Ishida, and selected indie short clips by Hong Kong young directors. Four leading art-house short films and documentaries including The Suicide Shop, Peggy Guggenheim: Art Addict, Bolshoi Babylon and RESET have been selected for Happy Hour screenings at 6:30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
