Lights, Camera and Plenty of Action – Marriott Content Studio and JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts Begin Production on Two Bellmen Three
Marrriott Content Studio and luxury global brand JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts today announce that production has begun on the third installment of the franchise short film, TWO BELLMEN. Like the two films that precede this one in the franchise, TWO BELLMEN THREE is the result of a partnership with Substance Over Hype, the renowned collective that anchors much of its storytelling in movement (dance, stunts, parkour) and music. The original short film is the last installment in the award-winning TWO BELLMEN franchise launched last year.
The franchise shifts to Seoul, South Korea and the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square, with actors and stuntmen William Spencer(Spider-Man; Spider-Man 2) and Caine Sinclaire (NBC’s Grimm; How I Met Your Mother) reprising their roles as heroic bellmen Gage and Christian. The bellmen are in Seoul as competitors in the “Global Bellmen Games,” a celebration of the exceptional talents of bellmen featuring amazing obstacle course challenges, talent show aspects and skill-based games. Joining the series are Ki Hong Lee (Maze Runner, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and Jessica Jung (Girl’s Generation), who play a couple getting married at the hotel at the same time as the games.
Like the two previous films in the franchise set in Los Angeles and Dubai respectively, TWO BELLMEN THREE takes place in and around one of JW Marriott’s sensational properties and prominently features the Korean culture and beauty of Seoul in its story. Additional actors and inspiration for the film will be drawn from the world of K-Pop and Korea’s acting, singing and online communities.

As with the previous TWO BELLMEN films, this one is directed and written by Daniel Malakai Cabrera, founder of Substance Over Hype, and overseen by executive producer David Beebe. TWO BELLMEN THREE is set for a global, multi-platform premiere in September 2016 through Marriott’s YouTube channel, Marriott.com and additional digital-platform rollouts including JW Marriott guest room televisions and partner channels. In addition, all three films in the franchise will be packaged for worldwide distribution as original content.
