Linkd Tourism, well known for sales, marketing and PR representation in Australia and New Zealand, has appointed Jessica Harding and Carolyn Nightingale as Trade Account Managers.

Previously Marketing Manager of 7travel, Jessica has a long history in the travel industry, including roles with Si Holidays, Pinpoint Travel Group, Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific and Hamilton Island Enterprises. Based at Linkd Tourism’s Surry Hills office, Jessica will lead the sales, representation and marketing activity on behalf of the agency’s long-standing clients, Aqua Aston Hospitality and Alamo Rent A Car, which have both been represented by Linkd Tourism for more than 30 years.

Of her new role, Jess commented “I am delighted to join the dynamic team at Linkd Tourism and to promote the fantastic Aqua-Aston and Alamo travel brands that have personally provided me with unforgettable experiences and stays in Hawaii and wider USA. I look forward to connecting with agents over the coming weeks and at Aloha Down Under next month.”

This appointment follows the hire of Carolyn Nightingale as Trade Account Manager for Colorado Tourism Office in March 2019. Alongside Managing Director, Kylee Kay, Carolyn is charged with developing the trade channels for Linkd Tourism’s first destination account as it enters its second year in the market. Already in this role she has identified several opportunities for the state and its destination partners to showcase to trade and consumer audiences in Australia and has developed marketing campaigns with tour operators and airlines to educate agents further. Her prior roles within the industry have spanned airline sales and U.S. destination representation, including Delta Air Lines, Ansett Australia, Garuda Indonesia, Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board and Simon Shopping Destinations.

Managing Director of Linkd Tourism, Kylee Kay, commented “Both Jessica and Carolyn add decades of industry experience to the team and I am thrilled to have these familiar faces on board as the business develops its Sydney-based office, which opened last year. With Jessica’s wide-ranging skillset from marketing and sales roles within media and wholesale organisations, I am confident that she will introduce a fresh perspective and 360-degree approach to our legacy clients. With Carolyn’s long history of marketing U.S. bound tourism to the Australian market she has already proven to be a valuable member of the team and I look forward to developing the trade programme for Colorado Tourism Office further with her expertise.”
