Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show® , organizers of the USA’s largest series of travel shows announced the “Best of Show” winners of its record-breaking Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show® held at the LA Convention Center in February of this year, with about 38,000 qualified travelers in attendance.

The event set a new record with active travel enthusiasts and tourism trade attending – making it the highest attended such event in the United States.

The 2019 “Best of Show Regional Pavilion” award went to the Yosemite Experience.

The Yosemite pavilion encompassed Visit Yosemite | Madera County, Sierra Vacation Home Rentals, Yosemite/Mariposa County Tourism Bureau, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, The Redwoods in Yosemite, Auto Camp in Mariposa and Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau. The highlight of the pavilion was the Yosemite Experience which included a 360 degree virtual reality tour of Yosemite National Park during which attendees of all ages got a taste of adventure.

Therese Williams, Public Relations and Sales Director of Visit Yosemite | Madera County said “This award is very special to us.  The Yosemite Pavilion is a coordinated group effort surrounding Yosemite.  The pavilion offers visitors a “one-stop” shop to see all that Yosemite and the surrounding communities have to offer.”

“From adventure to national parks to fine dining and lodging, the Yosemite group put together an exciting and very popular pavilion at this year’s show,” stated John Golicz, CEO of Unicomm, the show’s organizer.

“Frankly, I think they are a model of how many regional CVB’s, tourism boards and private sector hospitality companies can partner to market and educate travelers.”

Almost 38,000 consumers, travel agents and professionals streamed into the Travel & Adventure Show® to meet with more than 4,100 experts manning the show’s over 500 exhibit booths.
