Sydney’s world-class food and wine scene, glorious beaches, shopping precincts and the NSW jam-packed events calendar, will be showcased to over 4.2 million people when the Love Every Second of Sydney & NSW in Summermagazine is distributed in major newspapers across Australia and New Zealand this weekend.
NSW Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres said the 28 page magazine highlights Sydney and NSW as a destination of choice and the ideal place for a short break.
“NSW already attracts more visitors than any other State and we want to encourage as many people as possible to travel and experience everything that’s on offer,” Mr Ayres said.
“In the year to June 2016, there were more than 90 million international, domestic overnight and day trip visitors who stayed almost 180 million nights and spent more than $31.5 billion in NSW.
“This colourful magazine will showcase some of our standout events and experiences on offer this Summer and help in our goal of doubling overnight visitor expenditure by 2020.”
Destination NSW Chief Executive Officer Sandra Chipchase said with the warmer months fast approaching, NSW is the perfect place to play, with a wide range of fascinating tours and attractions that offer plenty of adventures and chilled out ways to discover the Harbour City and surrounding regions.
“I encourage everyone to grab their copy of the Love Every Second of Sydney & NSW in Summer magazine this weekend for added inspiration to explore Australia’s number one State, known for its coastal lifestyle, natural beauty and exciting events and festivals.”
