It was a case of smiles all round for 13 lucky Australian travel consultants who took part in a recent nine-day Helen Wong’s Tours familiarisation to Shanghai and Macau.
The agents – from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane – joined Helen Wong’s Tours sales executive Brendan Zadravec on an exclusive guided tour which covered some of the most appealing attractions of the two much sought-after Chinese cities.
While in Shanghai, the group saw the best of The Bund waterfront, the famous Yu Gardens and other major tourist sites before venturing to the ancient water town of Zhujiajiao.
The familiarisation then moved to the former Portuguese enclave Macau to experience the many fascinating east-meets-west and old-meets-new features, staying at the new Harbourview Hotel as well as the plush Banyan Tree Macau.
Each visit was designed to highlight to the travel consultants some of the features included Helen Wong’s Tours “Surprising Shanghai” and “Magical Macau” holiday programs for 2015-2016.
