It’s a brandnew cabin concept, which will bring our passengers more comfort and create a new travel experience at an affordable price. With the deployment of Premium Economy Class, Lufthansa is able to offer a 4-cabin product, including First, Business, Economy and Premium Economy Class in China, which fully meets the expectation of all kinds of travelers. This will make us even more competitive in China market. ”explains Juerg Christen, Managing Director Greater China, Lufthansa German Airlines. “Now, the preparation are in full swing and, as of December, among the first routes equipped with the new Premium Economy will be from Frankfurt to Hong Kong and Beijing operated by the Boeing 747-800 with 32 seats of each flight.
