Luxury Escapes to give Australians a Passport to Exclusive Luxury Travel

The latest offering from leading e-Commerce business AussieCommerce, launches on August 1st, giving Australians access to premium travel products at competitive prices.

The AussieCommerce Group is behind leading flash sales websites such as Cudo,,,, and The Meat Merchant, and has an exclusive digital media agreement with the Microsoft and Nine Entertainment Co. joint venture, Mi9.

Luxury Escapes is the successor, replacing the successful Getaway Lounge site, and will feature exclusive offers on five and six star luxury accommodation, cruise, airline and travel packages.

One of the main features of Luxury Escapes for industry is that the site will be a fully licenced travel agency, allowing for further expansion and assurance for operators and purchasers.

Managing Director of the AussieCommerce Group, Adam Schwab, is excited about what the launch of Luxury Escapes means for the Australian tourism industry.

“The AussieCommerce group is one of the largest online platforms in Australia with more than two million subscribers; this is an enormous distribution channel with a large subscriber base of holidaymakers for the tourism industry to have access to,” Mr Schwab said.

“We felt that the brand change from Getaway Lounge better represented the planned growth for the site in both Australia and internationally.”

Luxury Escapes has been designed for ease of use for both operators and members with the key priority of giving operators access to a large audience and driving holiday purchase decisions through exclusive and inspiring deals.

“By being involved with Luxury Escapes operators can have their offers promoted worldwide by a fully licenced travel agent. The site will give consumers the opportunity to purchase holidays of the highest quality at a unique price, not available elsewhere,” said Elina Bishop, Head of Travel, Luxury Escapes.

The new site will feature a stylish design and members will receive exclusive access to the Luxury Escapes e-magazine, featuring travel and experience articles from around the world.
