On Thursday evening, Restaurant Hubert played host to the much anticipated launch of Luxury Gold’s 2019 Worldwide Collection launch, presenting its annual magazine.

Guests were greeted to champagne upon arrival as they entered through Hubert’s iconic Bridge Bon–Appétit; a floating catwalk above the main dining room with a brilliant viewpoint of the restaurant as they enjoyed Hubert’s organic baguette, Duck Liver Parfait and Le Grand Aioli.

Hubert’s iconic Theatre Royale drips in history as one of Sydney’s first theatres, opening as Adyar Concert Hall in 1924 before it was later transformed into the foreign-film-focused Savoy Theatre. As guests took their seats, they were welcomed by Lorraine SharpManaging Director of Luxury Gold who likened the evening to a Luxury Gold experience.

David Farrar, Director of Sales continued the formalities, showcasing Luxury Gold’s extraordinary VIP offerings, including the exclusive Chairman’s Collection, having been extended to four more Luxury Gold itineraries this year and offering a rare opportunity to meet Legendary Locals such as princesses, duchesses and counts. Farrar statedMr Tollman spent three generations of his work to make Luxury Gold what it is – tailored, exceptional and luxurious. Guests marvelled at the night’s entrainment, The Pocket Trio, transporting guests back to the Golden Era of Travel with their energetic jazz tunes and beats.

The French theme continued throughout the evening with a delicious Poisson Grenobloise (Murray Cod cooked in brown butter), followed by Epaule d’Agneau (braised lamb shoulder), accompanied by local Australian wines. Guests were then treated to Rum Babas with Chantilly Cream, a delectable French dessert to finish off the evening.
