Luxury Travel Vietnam Seeks To Grow Share from German Market by Showcasing its Expertise at ITB Berlin 2014

Luxury TravelLuxury Travel Ltd (www.luxurytravels.asia), a long established Asian specialist in luxury fully bespoke holidays in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand, will exhibit at ITB Berlin from 5-9 March (Hall 26.C/329).

The aim is to promote high-end tourism products in the leisure luxury segment and to find buyers who want to sell unique experiences to discerning German travelers.

The Indochina area is increasingly appealing to German and European travellers, especially as Vietnam has seen the completion of many luxurious resorts with brand names such as Hyatt, Intercontinental and Six Senses. Wellness and spa resorts have increased dramatically in Southeast Asia, offering unrivalled services.

Luxury Travel is concentrating on developing those destinations that attract German-speaking travelers, of which there are around 100,000 travelling to Vietnam yearly, including combining sightseeing in Hanoi, Saigon, Halong Bay, Angkor Wat (Cambodia) with beach vacations in Hoi An, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc as well as encouraging them to stay longer.

Vietnam in particular is increasingly being recognized as a destination for high-end global tourists, especially those coming from Western European countries with direct flights, such as France, the UK, and Germany. The tourism infrastructure of Vietnam has a fast-growing list of modern luxury and spa destinations, as well as iconic colonial and boutique properties, recently opened golf courses, helicopter flights from Hanoi to Halong Bay, six star  Emperor Cruises and the launch of luxury yacht and river cruise services ensuring stress-free journeys away from the busy roads. Such improvements account for the recent growth in popularity of the country and prove that an enigmatic and alluring country such as Vietnam has nowhere to go but up.

We are receiving more and more bookings from German-speaking countries, such as Austria and Switzerland, and we are also embracing social media for a comprehensive marketing mix.
