Lyndey Milan OAM has partnered with Mary Rossi Travel and brings her thirst for life and sense of fun to leading a small group tour “Japan – A Culinary & Cultural Adventure” in May 2019.

Sushi, sashimi, ramen, yakitori, tempura, teriyaki, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, soba.. Japanese cuisine is seemingly endless – and equally delicious!  Lyndey will guide her guests’ tastebuds on a journey of discovery whilst exploring the major cultural sights along the way.

Japan is one of the hottest travel destinations for Australians.  It is a land of contrast from the ultra-modern to the centuries old, and guests will have an opportunity to adventure in the very best of both worlds.

Some of the many tour highlights:

-Master the art of sushi rolling in a restored machiya townhouse

-Glimpse into the geisha world during a visit to a traditional tea house in Kyoto.

-Learn how sake is made in a traditional brewery in Kanazawa dating back to 1625

-Explore UNESCO World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go and its unique thatched roof buildings

-Taste famous Hida beef in Takayama

-Spend the night in a traditional Japanese inn (ryokan).

Lyndey will be accompanied by a local Japanese speaking tour guide who will enhance the journey offering personal insights into Japanese culture and society along the way.
