Mantra Wild Adventures attended the recent Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart held in the Indian state’s capital of Bhopal last month. Hosted by Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Mantra Wild Adventures were one of only two Australian operators present at the Travel Mart.
“Madhya Pradesh is the highlight of many of our clients’ itineraries”, said Reena Tory, Founder of Mantra Wild Adventures, “the state offers abundant wildlife, cultural and pilgrimage destinations, and UNESCO World Heritage sites”.
The state of Madhya Pradesh is often referred to as the “heart of India”, because of its location. It is India’s second largest state and at its north borders Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Many exquisitely carved temples, forts, stupas and palaces can be found across the state, and it is home to the forests of Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Pench, Panna and Satpura, all well known for their tigers and abundant wildlife.
“The Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart gives us an opportunity to meet with new and existing operators, and to look for new experiences for our clients”, said Tory.
This year’s Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart was held from 14-16 October and featured many of the key operators from around the state and country, as well as buyers from over 28 countries.
