Magee Homestead, the boutique health and wellness retreat that opened in 2016 as part of the Brush Creek Luxury Ranch Collection, announced today that it has been welcomed into the Relais & Châteaux collection as a new member. Sitting on 7,000 acres of historic Wyoming ranchlands in the high mountain desert, Magee Homestead brings a piece of the American West to the Relais & Châteaux portfolio. Offering sophisticated exclusion for adults 21 years and older, guests of Magee Homestead can escape from the hectic world outside while reconnecting with one another.

Relais & Châteaux members include over 550 world-class hotels and restaurants spanning the globe, each with a distinct setting, atmosphere and flavor.

“We are honored to be recognized by Relais & Châteaux’s elite organization and to stand among the top properties in the world,” said Jeremy Belnap, Proprietor of Magee Homestead. “We take pride in offering a curated culinary and wellness experience to our guests that celebrates the history and adventure of the West.”

Capturing the mission of Relais & Châteaux, Magee Homestead embraces the art of living through curated experiences that provide the ultimate in romance, indulgence and relaxation. The nine individual cabins and private lodge feature contemporary rustic furnishings and décor as well as unmatched views of the surrounding landscape. The Homestead’s supreme privacy is ideal for individuals or couples as well as “Rent the Homestead” private buyouts for intimate weddings, vow renewals, corporate retreats and multi-generational family vacations for up to 27 guests.

The romantic Magee Homestead prairie hideaway is devoted to leisure and rejuvenation, which begins at the Wellness Pavilion featuring the Magee Spa, which offers a full suite of luxury spa experiences including signature massages, body treatments and facials; a Grotto soaking pool as well as sauna and steam rooms; expansive fitness center; heated outdoor swimming pool with western-themed cabanas; spacious sun decks and outdoor fire pit. Magee Spa is complemented by extensive wellness programming such as yoga, Pilates and meditation in a variety of settings as well as classic Western adventures including horseback riding, fly fishing, ranger tours, Gun Club and archery. All activities are tailored to each individual guest’s desired pace and in a private environment with personal guides, gear and instruction.

Under the guidance of Chef de Cuisine AJ Buchanio, the dining experience draws inspiration from the surrounding Rocky Mountain setting with a focus on fresh, regional, farm-to-table offerings including a “pasture to plate” program, featuring Ranch-raised Akaushi beef and produce sourced from an on-Ranch greenhouse with a total growing volume of 19,440 square feet and producing 106 different fruits and vegetables. The philosophy behind Magee Homestead’s culinary program is intuition, tuning into guests unspoken desires and providing specifically tailored service and artfully prepared fresh, daily menus complemented by fine wines, premium beers and spirits.

Magee Homestead is one of only two properties in the United States to be added as a Relais & Châteaux member in 2017.
