In a national first, the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) is launching a major consumer awareness campaign in partnership with the State Government to ensure more Tasmanians know to choose ATAS agencies for travel bookings.
ATAS accreditation means the travel agency has qualified for the AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme. Booking with an ATAS agent means you’re in safe hands and can travel with confidence. As part of the scheme, all ATAS-accredited agents must fully comply with Australian Consumer Law and consumers are protected by ACL provisions when purchasing travel-related products and services.
The campaign will be officially launched in Hobart this Friday, 19 August.
Leading local travel industry representatives will also attend.
