Major New Online Cruise Video Initiative Launched … Cruising TV

Video is now recognised to be one of the most powerful online marketing tools that really does convert lookers into bookers, the dream of every travel operator.

As a result, a major new online cruise video initiative has been launched between Cruising TV and Cruise Factory that will provide professionally produced videos of cruise ships all over the world distributed to thousands of online cruise travel agencies and their web sites and to travel agents and their clients.

Sam Lindner, Managing Director of Cruising TV said, “With cruising continuing to boom practically everywhere around the world we recognised that passengers do not want to only see corporate style videos, their brand ads or interviews with management.”

“What they are looking for is a more natural informative and entertaining style of video about the ship and the cruise itself. With content tailored to different aspects of the cruise or key passenger segments, not one brand voice trying to speak to the many different target segments. All this aids the customer to help them make the right cruise decision, whether that be directly online or at their travel agency.”

He added, “There are also so many different cruises in terms of price, quality and styles and vessels out there, that choosing the wrong type of cruise or vessel to suit a client’s aspirations can be an expensive mistake.”

“Our videos will provide really valuable insights into the vessels, their size, style, quality & features, with our presenters taking viewers right through every aspect of the vessel and the cruise from the passenger’s perspective.“

“Another key factor in our business model was being able to provide highly effective distribution for the cruise companies for the videos of their vessels that we create, by distributing them to the top online cruise travel agencies and travel agents. Our goal is to be long term content partners, not one-off shoots”

“As a result, the concept of Cruising TV was born and we are delighted that Cruise Factory has joined us as our first key distribution partner, ensuring distribution of our videos to it’s thousands of booking partners.”
