Manila introduces the hotel’s new executives – Cristina Ong-Cruz as Director of Sales and Marketing and Patricia “Patti” Javier as Director of Communications.

As Makati Shangri-La’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Cristina Ong-Cruz brings with her over 23 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the hospitality industry, with proven expertise in all areas of hotel marketing such as sales, revenue management, direct and online marketing, public relations, advertising and social media management.

Ms. Ong-Cruz joins Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts for the first time, equipped with an in-depth understanding and analytic approach to business, vital to Makati Shangri-La as one of the flagship properties in the Philippines that is ready for higher growth to maintain its market leadership.

The new Director of Communications, Patricia “Patti” Javier, is now on her sixth year with the Shangri-La hotels and resorts group with an extensive experience in communications, marketing and brand management after having worked for Traders Hotel, Manila (recently rebranded to Hotel Jen Manila) and Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa.
