Treat your better half to an unforgettable Valentine’s gift and escape the Danishwinter. Take a romantic holiday to a warm, tropical island and discover the luxury resort, Banyan Tree Phuket, recently reopened after a major renovation. Throughout February, the resort will make guests’ wishes come true, all in the name of love.
Make your wish come true
In tribute to love, Banyan Tree Phuket will give all couples staying at the hotel in February the opportunity to add some extra spice to their Valentine’s holiday. The team at Banyan Tree Phuket has crafted some special romantic wishes for guests to choose from, whether it is to pop champagne together or enjoy a discount on a well-being experience at the world-renowned Banyan Tree Spa Phuket.
Upon arrival at the hotel, guests can choose their wish at check-in. Each day, a selected number of wishes are granted by the hotel team. Guests will find out that their wish has come true via a surprise personalised letter in their villa.
The special Valentine’s Wishes for guests to choose from include:
• Two glasses of Champagne before dinner
• 1,000 THB voucher to spend at Banyan Tree Gallery at the resort
• 1,000 THB voucher to spend at Banyan Tree Spa Phuket
• 1,000 THB donation (made by the resort) towards the Heart Foundation Thailand
Donate a gift for a better environment
Customers with a heart for others can share their love on Valentine’s season and choose to donate 1.000 THB (approximately 200 kroner) towards the Heart Foundation Thailand or to the hotel’s own Corporate Social Responsibility projects such as tree planting or supporting meals for underprivileged children. If guests choose this option, they will win a special Valentine’s surprise such as a relaxing massage at the spa; or a romantic evening in their villa including a bottle of wine, a Thai handicraft gift, rose petals and candles. This surprise will be prepared in the villa, while the couple is away for dinner or other activities.
Banyan Tree Phuket, located on the stunning island of Phuket in Thailand is now a fully-integrated all-pool villa resort. Privacy and intimacy is what makes Banyan Tree Phuket popular amongst couples looking for a romantic escape, especially on a special occasion such as Valentine’s.
Exquisite restaurant experiences
In addition to its luxurious villas, Banyan Tree Phuket is known for its selection of fine restaurants inspired by French, Japanese and Thai cuisine. The restaurants’ popularity can be attributed to the outstanding culinary offerings prepared by an expert team, led by executive chef Alfonso de la Dehesa who has worked for some of the world’s best restaurants – including Michelin-starred restaurant El Bulli in Spain.
As part of the recent renovation of the resort, two of its restaurants have also undergone a transformation. The signature Thai restaurant, Saffron has a new location at the centre of the resort, while the seafood restaurant Water Court now allows guests to enjoy dining overlooking the lagoon under a starlit evening sky on a private deck.
