Malibu Beach Inn, a Mani Brothers property, nestled along “Billionaire’s Beach” in Malibu, California, will install OpenKey’s mobile key technology to provide their guests with keyless access to their rooms directly from their smartphones.
OpenKey is the industry standard for providing universal mobile key access for the hospitality industry.
In addition to being a mobile key, the OpenKey app will allow Malibu Beach Inn guests to skip the front desk and check-in directly from their mobile phone. It also provides directions to the property, ability to book amenities, call the front desk staff, as well as send an update should they be arriving late.
“We are committed to bringing cutting edge technology to all of our hospitality projects and are thrilled to have the sophistication of mobile key technology for our guests at our first property, the Malibu Beach Inn,” said Gregory Day, President of Hospitality for Mani Brothers Real Estate. “As one of the most well-respected boutique hotels on the Pacific Coast, we strive to provide our guests with the optimum hotel stay experience. Adding OpenKey contributes to that effort and is one of many ways we are doing this today.”
“OpenKey prides itself on helping our hotel partners evolve the guest experience before, during and after their stay,” said TJ Person, OpenKey CEO. “Happy guests result in glowing reviews and repeat business, both of which OpenKey is a proven contributor for. We are very proud to be working with the Malibu Beach Inn and excited to be bringing this amenity to the property.”
Whether guests are in pursuit of adventure or in need of relaxation, the 47-room boutique hotel can accommodate. Situated around several landmarks, shops, hiking trails, watersport adventures and local metropolis and home to an exquisite, tranquil spa, Malibu Beach Inn has something everyone can indulge in. Now with OpenKey, guests have more control of their stay experience in the palm of their hand.
