Chinese New Year festivities will begin on 8 February 2016 with a traditional lion dance and an eye-dotting ceremony at the lobby which will later move through the hotel. The God of Wealth will also visit all of the hotel’s restaurants, sharing lucky Lai See packets as he passes. Chinese New Year Celebratory Dining
Pierre is the hotel’s stunning two-Michelin-starred restaurant and Pierre Gagnaire’s pied-à-terre in Hong Kong. Guests at this two-star Michelin restaurant will enjoy an eight-course tasting menu at HKD2,088 per person on 9 February, the evening of the incredible fireworks display over Victoria Harbour.
At the stunning Man Wah Cantonese Michelin-starred restaurant, guests will indulge in dim sum and Chinese New Year specialities. Dim Sum lunch begins daily from 10:30 a.m. from 7 to 10 February and an eight-course celebratory dinner will be available on 9 February where guests will enjoy a bird’s eye view of the spectacular fireworks. There is a minimum charge of HKD1,688 per person.
Mandarin Grill + Bar’s much-loved Michelin-starred à la carte menu will be available to diners throughout Chinese New Year.
Clipper Lounge will be the perfect setting for family get-togethers this holiday with a Chinese New Year-themed buffet. During lunch, the buffet will cost HKD388 per adult and HKD268 per child, with an enhanced Chinese New Year free flow Ruinart Champagne brunch on 9 February priced at HKD688 per adult and HKD438 per child. The famed Afternoon Tea will be available daily, priced at HKD338 per person and HKD528 per couple. Guests will be invited to enjoy the sumptuous dinner buffet daily and will be priced at HKD628 per adult and HKD438 per child, and on February 9 diners will be invited to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display from a guestroom at 8 p.m. that evening.
The hotel’s popular family restaurant, Café Causette, will remain open throughout the New Year week, offering diners an extensive à la carte menu.
M bar, located on the 25th floor, will be ideal for those who wish to enjoy a cocktail or glass of champagne while admiring the fireworks on 9 February. There is a minimum charge of HKD268 per person from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
