On 13 April, the hotel’s award-winning restaurant Fifty 8° Grill hosted the star-studded Laureus Academy dinner. The following day, Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai successfully catered the Laureus’ Award Welcome Party at the iconic Shanghai Pearl Tower close by the hotel, bringing together sporting legends, international celebrities, leading sport industry figures and top government officials.
