On the eve of the world’s largest environmental awareness initiative – Earth Hour on 29 March – Mantra Mooloolaba Beach has launched a new ‘Eco Conference’ package which will have business leaders going green with pride, knowing that each delegate in attendance will have a tree planted to help the environment.

The trees are currently planted in Western Australia in strict ‘planting seasons’, with plans to commence plantings along the Eastern seaboard next year. Planted trees help prevent the spread of deserts and reduce soil erosion, improve soil quality by reducing salinity, create important wind breaks and at the same time, actively supporting local and indigenous employment through seed collection, planting and monitoring.
