Three new summer destinations with easyJet from Berlin
Leave the big city and head for the sea! easyJet is expanding its network from the end of June to include the port cities of Bastia, Pula and Varna.

Head off to trendy destinations this summer. Ready for the start of summer, easyJet is expanding its network from Berlin Schönefeld Airport to three new tempting destinations! Passengers can now fly from Schönefeld to Bastia (Corsica) from 29 June and Pula (Croatia) from 30 June. Flights to Varna (Bulgaria) are already set to begin from 28 June. These additional routes mean passengers flying from Berlin are spoilt for choice with 48 different summer destinations. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Engelbert Lütke Daldrup, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: “easyJet is continuing its expansion in Berlin. This clearly acknowledges the importance of our location. In the last 14 months, the carrier has stationed three new aircraft at Schönefeld, as well as adding eleven new destinations to its Berlin flight plan. With a total of 48 destinations, there is hardly a region in Europe that cannot be reached by flying easyJet from Berlin. As always, we wish the airline a safe and successful onward journey.”

Dream beaches for big-city travellers, jobs for Berlin

Just in time for the summer months, easyJet is banking on fresh, new holiday destinations. The addition of its new entry points means the airline is continuing with its eclectic mix of popular business and leisure destinations throughout Europe. Thomas Haagensen, CEO of easyJet Germany: “We would like to provide our guests with a colourful choice of travel destinations, whilst continuing to extend our network. By adding another three aircraft to our fleet, which brings the total up to twelve, we’ve shown just how strongly our programme continues to grow.” Not only will passengers, curious for adventure, benefit from the airline’s renewed presence in the German capital, but also the region itself. The addition of the three new aircraft has led directly to the creation of over 100 new jobs.

Cool coves, festivals und port flair: the new destinations at a glance

With three new destinations, Berlin and Brandenburg residents alike can relax on Europe’s dreamy coastlines. EasyJet now flies twice a week to the picturesque port city of Bastia in northern Corsica. Experience the true Mediterranean feeling with a coffee stop at Place Saint-Nicolas, amidst palm trees, baroque buildings and the port. The Croatian port city of Pula is serviced three times a week.
