Mark’s Teppanyaki Opens at Taipei Marriott Hotel

1Taipei Marriott Hotel is pleased to announce the grand opening of Mark’s Teppanyaki, reinterpreting the popular classic cuisine with a modern and sophisticated twist.  With a coveted destination inside the exciting new Taipei Marriott Hotel in the heart of the dynamic Dazhi District and a gourmet menu of modern Japanese and international cuisine, Mark’s Teppanyaki is destined to become a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.  To celebrate its grand opening, Mark’s Teppanyaki will feature a special offer for guests through December 31, including a special New Year’s Eve experience.

Mark’s Teppanyaki Opening Celebration runs from December 8 – December 31, offering a 10 percent discount for lunch and dinner.  On New Year’s Eve, couples can enjoy an intimate, prix fixe dinner for two in a private booth with a glass of champagne for $NT 9,999 + 10% tax and service charge.


Combining traditional Teppanyaki with sophisticated French style and service, Marriott Taipei is redefining the Teppanyaki experience.  Executive Chef Lin-Chin Kai has created a menu of delicious and healthy choices, incorporating a wide range of fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables along with the traditional seafood and meats.  Creative offerings include purple perilla sajori rolls with liquor clams and salt-baked abalone and vegetables.

The restaurant offers private booth-style seating which is perfect for families, business groups and friends. Guests can enjoy interacting with the chefs at live cooking stations while their meals are being made.  Lunches start at NT $1,900 and dinners at NT $2,500.

Guests can pair their menu choices with an international selection of wine, chosen by Raymond Nien, a renowned sommelier in Taiwan.

Traditional Teppanyaki uses the temperature of the iron skillet to bring out the best flavors in the prime ingredients. With a focus on healthy cuisine,Mark’s Teppanyaki uses light oil and adds fresh fruits and vegetables. Chef Lin launched a number of innovative dishes including the Canadian foie gras, raw lobster and the abalone Australasia,which incorporate Western Thai cuisine methods.


Mark’s Teppanyaki offers exclusive limited private room for 2 starting at NT $ 9,999 + 10%, which includes wine and food service – perfect for business customers or a romantic evening.
