Marriott International is pleased to announce ten of its hotels across Asia Pacific have been included in Cvent’s 2019 list of Top 50 Meeting Hotels (Asia Pacific), a recognition of its exceptional business events offerings throughout the region.

Hotels in the Marriott International network acknowledged in the Top 50 Asia Pacific list included first time entrants Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park – in only its second year of operation; JW Marriot Hotel Hong Kong; The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali and Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers Bangkok.

Other Marriott International hotels in the Top 50 included The Westin Tokyo, The Westin Sydney, Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park, Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay, JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach and The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore – all of which consistently feature in Cvent’s list.

Cvent is a market-leading meetings, events and hospitality technology provider to over 260,000 hotels. Released yearly, the Top 50 Hotels lists are compiled by analysing meeting and event booking activity through the Cvent Supplier Network (CSN), one of the world’s largest venue sourcing platforms. Hotels are ranked across regional Top 50 lists, based on group business performance according to various criteria, including total requests for proposals and conversion rate. Inclusion in the list is recognition of a hotel’s exceptional service and amenities.

“Marriott International remains committed to providing the best experience for meeting and event planners. We were particularly encouraged to see so many new hotels in the list, which indicates our consistent focus on business events across the region,” said Ramesh Daryanani, Vice President, Global Sales, Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China) for Marriott International.

“We look forward to continuing to deliver on this. We expect to have 1,000 hotels open in Asia Pacific by 2020, offering planners and guests unrivalled access to the best destinations and experiences throughout the region. We hope to see even more of our hotels included in Cvent’s 2020 list,” Mr Daryanani concluded.

All properties included on the 2019 Cvent list, excluding The Ritz-Carlton Millennia Singapore, are members of Marriott International’s travel program, Marriott Bonvoy. Through Marriott Bonvoy, meeting and event planners can enjoy benefits including earning up to 60,000 points per event on eligible room, food, beverages and audio-visual charges, that can be used for work or leisure travel.

Marriott Bonvoy also provides planners with an ongoing range of group offers, including the current ‘Triple Perks’ deal. Valid until 30 September 2019, planners can choose three benefits from a choice of five including: 5% off master-billed rooms; triple points; one in ten delegates free; one complimentary night for every 25 nights booked; and one complimentary room upgrade for every 25 nights booked.
