Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) is delighted to announce that acclaimed actor Marta Dusseldorp has been appointed as its Ambassador.

One of Australia’s most recognised actors, Dusseldorp has worked extensively in theatre, film and television and is well known for her roles in Janet King, Jack Irish and A Place to Call Home. She is currently performing the lead in the Melbourne Theatre Company’s (MTC) production of A Doll’s House, Part 2 which has received wide critical acclaim to sell out audiences. A&K is a major partner of the MTC and at the recent launch of A Doll’s House, Part 2, A&K Managing Director Sujata Raman announced Dusseldorp’s appointment.

Of the appointment, Ms Raman said later, “We are delighted to have Marta as an ambassador. She is a passionate traveller, a consummate performer and someone who embodies the A&K spirit of adventure. On an A&K journey, our aim is to deliver memorable experiences that surprise and delight and on occasions illicit reflection and contemplation. Marta performs to her audiences on a similar level and we look forward to sharing the world of A&K with her”.
As A&K Ambassador, Dusseldorp and her family will experience what A&K is best known for – a bespoke African safari. They will travel on a two-week luxury journey to Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique where they will be staying at three of the newly reimagined Sanctuary Retreats’ camps – Sanctuary Stanley’s, Sanctuary Chief’s and Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma – in prime game viewing locations with some of the finest wildlife viewing on the continent. A planned visit is scheduled to the Zambian village of Nakatindi where Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy support has built a new classroom at the school, established a bike shop, constructed bore holes and built a medical clinic and maternity ward. Their journey culminates on the beautiful white sandy beaches of Azura Benguerra in Mozambique.
