Maryland Crab Feast Season is in opens at the Kent Narrows Waterfront

The Eastern Shore of Maryland’s most popular seafood and boat-to-table waterfront dining and destination is teeming with crabs harvested straight from the Chesapeake Bay!

Three of the area’s most popular restaurants, Fisherman’s Crab Deck, The Jetty Restaurant and Dock Bar and Harris Crab House have opened their outdoor dockside dining venues for the summer. Much of the seafood in the served in locally owned restaurants comes straight off the work boats to the Kent Narrows working waterfront.

Kent Narrows is home to both Harris Seafood and United Shellfish. Both are suppliers to many of the seafood restaurants throughout the Maryland and the Eastern Shore.

For 2017, the Jetty Dock Bar and Restaurant has added an outdoor beachfront dining area complete with sand and Adirondack chairs that overlook the Eastern Bay.

The Jetty Dock Bar, the Crab Deck as well as Red Eyes Dock Bar and Big Owl’s Tiki Bar have just released their live dockside music and entertainment schedules for the Summer season. Live music is offered at venues throughout the Waterfront area from now through October.

Just ten minutes from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, the Crab Houses at the Kent Narrows Waterfront make a good stop en route to the Maryland or Delaware Beaches —and the area is a fine overnight destination in itself. The Kent Narrows Waterfront is home to also home to the Hilton Garden Inn, the Holiday Inn Express, and The Best Western hotels. All offer waterfront accommodations.
