Leading specialist battlefield tour operator, Mat McLachlan Battlefield Tours, has launched a new website providing easier search-ability of its over 50+ tours, instant live chat during business hours, online tour brochures, and information resources including media articles and podcasts.

Matt Masson, General Manager Touring for Mat McLachlan Battlefield Tours said, “We are excited to launch our new website just ahead of the anticipated launch of our 2020 brochure and new range of tours for the coming year, including a number of flagship tours such as the very special Western Front tour with Ray Martin and Mat McLachlan – which departs in June 2020.”

Last minute bookings for a number of 2019 tours are also still available, including:

  • the best-selling 4-day Western Front Explorer Tour (from $1997pp), with five tours still to run in October and November 2019 (departures: 1 October; 8 October; 15 October; 22 October; 8 November); and
  • the 12-day Vietnam Past & Present Tour departing on 24 November 2019 ($3147pp), which invites travellers to both walk in the footsteps of the 50,000 Anzacs who served in the Vietnam War, as well as discover many of the country’s cultural treasures including the imperial capital of the Nguyen Lords, Hue; the World Heritage ancient town of Hoi An; the colourful local markets; plus the mouth-watering cuisine.

“We have also found Vietnam to be a growing destination of interest, and the response to our Vietnam Past & Present Tour – designed to showcase both the country’s rich culture as well as its war-time history – has been such that we have expanded our Vietnam offering to two tours for 2020: departing in April – to coincide with Anzac Day, and August – to coincide with Vietnam Veterans Day” said Masson.
