The luxury boutique hotel brand 137 Pillars Suites & Residences is excited to announce the appointment of Maxim Baile as the Executive Chef at 137 Pillars Suites & Residences. With 15 years of experience, he brings a dynamic, innovative energy to the dining experience, ushering in a new era of gastronomy at their properties.

Originally from France, Chef Baile honed his skills in a variety of international locations including Scotland, Mauritius, Denmark, French Polynesia, Kazakhstan, and now Thailand. He joins 137 Pillars Suites & Residences from his prior role as Chef Culinary Instructor at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institut Paris, Bangkok. Before that Baile was the Executive Chef of the World Hotel Saltanat in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and its fine dining restaurant Provino. He has also worked at five-star Rixos Hotel where he was responsible for a la carte menu in the restaurants, lobby, room service, spa, and banqueting. Previous positions also include the Michelin-starred restaurant and hotel Chateau De Norieux.

In his new role as Executive Chef, Maxim will maintain and promote 137 Pillars Suites & Residences brand promise and operational excellence and direct all culinary operational activities towards supporting the mission, vision, and 7 Principles that are part of Baile’s brief from 1 February 2019.
