MEET TAIWAN, a MICE travel promotion program developed by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), today unveils a business
competition, open to Australian entrants for the first time. The Asia Super Team: Team Up for Good initiative promotes Taiwan as a premium destination for incentive travel, while supporting charitable causes in Asia Pacific.

Asia Super Team: Team Up for Good is the second iteration of MEET TAIWAN’s annual multinational business competition which this year runs in Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. The campaign consists of multiple phases, including an online proposal submission, public voting to determine the finalist from each country and an
all-expenses-paid finalists’ tour of Taiwan to experience the beauty of the country’s incentive offering.

Registration and proposal submissions to Asia Super Team: Team Up for Good open today at asiasuperteam.meettaiwan.com and run until 30 August 2015 21:59 (AEST). Public voting opens from 3 August 2015, 10:00 (AEST) until 30 August 2015, 21:59 (AEST). The overall winning organisation will receive an incentive travel package to Taiwan worth more than USD 50,000, and MEET TAIWAN will donate USD 5,000 to the winner’s designated not-for-profit organisation. Participants who log in to their social media accounts to vote will
also be entered into a draw to win round-trip air tickets to Taiwan, courtesy China Airlines.

How to Participate in Asia Super Team

Asia Super Team: Team Up for Good consists of two phases of competition, including an online competition and a five-day-four-night finalists’ tour in Taiwan from 12-16 October 2015, with all expenses covered by MEET TAIWAN.

Phase 1:

Online Competition The online preliminary stage invites organisations to 2 submit an itinerary proposal which showcases their passion for and understanding of Taiwan’s incentive travel offering. The contestants then share their proposals via social media to help attract the highest number of public votes, determining the finalists who go through to the tour in Taiwan.

Phase 2: Finalists’ Tour in Taiwan The final in Taiwan enables the business winners from each of the six countries to explore the diverse experiences available for meetings and exhibitions in Taiwan, encompassing local culture, environmental sustainability and community support.
