Meet the most important person on Sea Dream I

EGT mediaTVWhile the clients on board are clearly very, THE most important person on any ship has to be the Captain, the single most senior person aboard, with responsibility for not only the vessel, but also everyone on board.

I recently sailed with Sea Dream Yacht Club on a stunning Mediterranean and Atlantic voyage on Sea Dream I and really enjoyed these amazing, small, luxurious vessels and in particular the cuisine.

Although there are only 100 passengers and around 100 crew on board Sea Dream I, the responsibilities of the Captain or Master for the sailing and navigation of the vessel and the safety of the passengers and crew is very similar to that of a larger vessel.

I met with Captain Bjarne Smorawski on the bridge of Sea Dream I on a stunning day as we were entering of Las Palmas in the Canaries and I asked him how long he had been on Sea Dream I and also what he liked about being Master of this wonderful vessel.
