bosco_phototour01One of downtown Boston’s busiest hotels, theBoston Marriott Copley Place near Copley Square, owned by Host Hotels & Resorts, has completed a renovation of its popular Grand Ballroom and busy Back Bay Conference and Exhibition Hall, as well as its stunning Atrium Lounge.

The 23,431-square-foot Grand Ballroom has been refinished in a calming palette of grays and blues. Tonal wall coverings and plush custom carpet provide a restful backdrop, perfect for accommodating a variety of event configurations and finishes. This new color scheme beautifully enhances the Ballroom’s three pre-existing chandeliers that were custom-created with 29,000 crystal pendants. A state-of-the-art digital lighting and sound system, easily accessible lighting grid, wired and wireless connectivity, and fiber optic cabling continues to be available. The Grand Ballroom divides into 11 sections, accommodating 3,640 for receptions and 1,990 for banquets.

The 22,500-square-foot Back Bay Conference and Exhibit Hall has been refreshed with a color scheme of granite, gray and gold. This space can be used in its entirety for trade shows, accommodating 102 booths and up to 1,400 guests, or sub-divided with either air walls or stylish opaque glass panels into seven mid-sized meeting rooms, measuring 900 to 2,000 square feet. bosco_phototour92
