egtmedia59Would you think about suggesting a train journey for your next major conference or meeting destination, or a station for the location of a product launch?  No – well think again, and when you do think about it, have a talk to the people at Rocky Mountaineer.

The iconic train service, which has recently commenced services out of Seattle, called Coastal Passage; in addition to its more traditional starting point of Vancouver, has a range of options and incentives for conference and meetings organisers to work with.  FIA-250x250

Sole use carriages are an option, and are viable for groups of 30+ and for larger numbers an exclusive lounge car can be attached behind.  Rocky Mountaineer now has a silver leaf class (business class) service available in a single story dome car seating arrangement, that offers a real option for meetings and small group journeys.

The company owns it’s own station, in Vancouver, and events are frequently staged there as a starting or finishing point to a conference, meeting or product launch.  Robert Halfpenny Sales Director from Rocky Mountaineer tells me that they have even staged performances by Cirque Du Soleil on the platform.

As Robert says, “the Rocky Mountaineer is truly one of the worlds great train journeys, and we offer a truly memorable conference or meeting experience, to those with a sense of adventure and style.
