Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited has become the first integrated resorts operator to present an exhibition on the development of women and children in the past twenty years led by Macao Women’s Celebration Preparatory Committee for Double Anniversary, co-organized by Women’s General Association of Macau. The travelling exhibition is a celebration of the special occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao SAR.
Supported by the Macao SAR Government, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture, Macao Foundation, and more than twenty community organizations, the exhibition explores the subjects of “Integration with Mainland China for success”, “Protection of women and children”, “Innovation and advancement with the times”, and “Family-friendly societal development” through a comprehensive display of photographs, documentary films, statistics and text.
On display at Melco’s City of Dreams’ employee-only Heart-of-House area until September 13, the exhibition showcases the outstanding achievement and progress of Macau’s women and children in various fields, with hopes to inspire Melco colleagues to always strive for a better tomorrow with perseverance and determination.
