As part of Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s ongoing ‘Splendors of China’ learning program, the Company today hosted a seminar in collaboration with the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR to discuss opportunities and challenges for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Professor Zhang Jiangping, Director General, Center for Regional Economic Cooperation and the Director General, Institute for Western Asia and Africa, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, MOFCOM, was guest speaker of the event held at Studio City.

Officiating guests included Mr. Zuo Xianghua, Director of Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR; Ms. Jiang Xiaofan, Deputy Director-General of the Policy Research Department of the Commissioner’s Office; Mr. Chan Weng Tat, Head of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department, Macao Economic Bureau; Ms. Daniela de Souza Fão, Head of Administration and Finance Department, Macao Government Tourism Office; and a representative of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute. The 500-strong audience also included representatives from the community and Melco employees.
