Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited (Nasdaq: MLCO) advocates giving back to the community and actively supports, encourages and facilitates volunteer programs for employees throughout the year. Mr. Lawrence Ho, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, hosted an event yesterday to share appreciation towards employee volunteers for their time and efforts benefiting Macau’s wider community. Last year, Melco employees dedicated over 136,000 hours to volunteerism to benefit 40 local NGO’s, with more than 9,700 employee headcounts recorded at volunteering events.

Mr. Lawrence Ho expressed: “Caring for the community is core to Melco’s culture and corporate vision to contribute to the growth and future of the communities we serve. We have been at the forefront of developing one-of-a-kind volunteer events, and the purpose of the recognition event is to communicate our gratitude to Melco’s volunteering team; to thank them for their proactive participation during personal time, and to recognize their tireless efforts in positively impacting the community. We also extend our gratitude to partnering associations, as Melco continues to work closely with local charitable organizations to further promote volunteerism, not only within the company, but among the industry and wider community.”

Ms. Ada Gao, Pit Supervisor, Table Games, said, “I am proud to be a member of the Melco Volunteer family. The company organizes plentiful and varied volunteer opportunities throughout the year, and encourages employees to bring along family members and friends. I am highly appreciative of such initiatives as they are excellent opportunities for both myself and my family to learn about important values such as offering help to those in need, and the virtues of respect for the elderly, for example. I will continue to partake in and promote volunteerism among peers, encouraging those around me to join such meaningful activities.”
