Melco Resorts & Entertainment (Nasdaq: MLCO)’s over 180 employees volunteered at nine events to benefit eight local charitable organizations this October. The Company’s volunteers participated in the Charity Run of Caritas Macau 2018, sold flags to raise money forFuhong Society of Macau and accompanied the elderly at events co-organized with the General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macau and Casa para Anciãos da Paróquia de Santo António. Volunteers organised activities for children in the community, including a barbecue, bowling event and nursery visit to benefit ECF Fellowship Orphanage Inc.Cradle of Hop and Tung Sin Tong, The First Nursery.

 Melco volunteers also helped set up an interactive game booth ran by staff from Macau Deaf Association,the event’s co-organizer, at City of Dreams’ employees-only Heart of House area to raise awareness for hearing health. The booth contained important information on the practices tied to potential auditory health risks, and also promoted auditory accessibility. This was shared with Melco employees and otoscope examinations were also offered free of charge.

I would like to extend our gratitude to our colleagues for dedicating their own personal time to benefit those in the local community, as we continue to work closely with our trusted partner associations to positively impact society.”

Melco advocates giving back to the community and actively supports, encourages and facilitates volunteer programs for employees throughout the year. Last year, Melco employees dedicated over 136,000 hours to volunteerism to benefit 40 local NGO’s, with more than 9,700 employee headcounts recorded at volunteering events.
