Pictured getting into the ‘Krismas’ mode in Honiara this week, Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau CEO, Josefa ‘Jo’ Tuamoto (standing on left) and his head office team.

Pointing towards record-breaking August and September international visitor arrivals Mr Tuamoto said these figures were clear indicators the destination was well on track to enjoy yet another year of positive growth.

“But we’ll wait until we see final Q4 figures before we start popping the champagne corks,” he said.

“In the meantime the entire SIVB team, both in the Solomon Islands and overseas would like to say a big ‘Tagio Tumas’ to all our valued tourism partners for their wonderful support in 2017.

“And ‘lukim iu lo 2018’.”
