Metro Hotels has appointed Sri Kodali to the role of Business Development Manager for NSW and Victoria.

In this role Sri is responsible for maintaining and growing the domestic leisure, corporate and government business for Metro Hospitality Group’s properties in Sydney and Melbourne.

The position reports to Metro Hotels’ Director of Sales & Marketing, Rachel Pirie,  who today welcomed Mr Kodali’s appointment.

“Sri brings to this role the requisite sales and operations experience necessary to recognise and capitalise on potential sales opportunities and build strong business relationships in the domestic market”, Ms Pirie said.

“Sri’s strong client engagement skills and proven background in maintaining and growing strategic business relationships with both corporate and leisure customers will be instrumental in helping us grow our market share, not just in NSW and Victoria but Australia-wide,” Rachel said.

With more than 15 years experience in the industry, Sri was previously Regional Sales Manager NSW/Victoria for Oakwood Asia Pacific and Director of Sales & Marketing for APX Hotels & Apartments.

Metro Hotels is the public face of Transmetro Corporation, an Australian owned public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. The group offers a national accommodation network of properties in key locations and major cities across Australia including Sydney, Melbourne, Gladstone, Perth, Darwin and Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory.
