GBTA Programme for Energy & Resources Travel Symposium
The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA)—the voice of the global business travel industry—today announced the launch of its GBTA AUS/NZ Energy & Resources Travel Symposium’s programme.
The event, a first for the region, will be held at the Mercure Perth Hotel in, Western Australia on 15th to 16th October 2012.
GBTA launched the event as part of its increased investment in the region. GBTA stated that they have been overwhelmed with interest from buyers and suppliers and are anticipating a sell out event.
Speaking about the programme, Rachel Harper, GBTA’s Regional Director, said, “The programme will cover four core topics vital to travel professionals in the Energy & Resources sector to ensure they are provided with best practice tools and education.“
She states further, “We recently conducted a member survey and 45% of the respondents highlighted that Duty of Care was at the top of their travel management agenda. This programme will address Duty of Care and Traveller Tracking encompassing the entire booking process from a case study and panel discussion perspective.”
The programme is available on the gbta.org/aus-nz website. Registration for the event is now open but the association is encouraging delegates to register as soon as possible and it is expected that the event will sell out.
